ORANGE UTAHN ART
We have teamed up with Utah’s Hogle Zoo who is working to help save the critically endangered orangutan. Due to deforestation and destruction of their natural habitat, orangutans are rapidly disappearing from the wild. In an effort to help preserve their native forests, the Zoo has initiated an art project to help raise money for this cause.
Each piece of art was either entirely painted by an Orangutan from Hogle Zoo or is a colaboration between an Orangutan and one of 10 local artists.
You can make a difference by purchasing one of the pieces created for this show. All proceeds from the sale of these pieces will go directly to helping preserve the natural habitat of the wild organutan. All framing on the Orangutan pieces was provided by Well Hung Framing and we are proud to be a part of this effort.
You can see all of the art online or in person at the Anderson-Foothill Branch of the Salt Lake Library system. The pieces will be displayed July 10th – August 28th with a reception and silent auction being held July 15th from 6 to 8:30 pm. This is a once in a lifetime chance to own some beautiful art created by Orangutans!

Zach Richards (on the right, artist Shag is on the left) started Well Hung Framing in September 2006 and he has over 9 years of experience in framing. He and his staff are dedicated to providing a great frame for a great price.
